Manifestation blog
I have over ten years’ of writing for my blog.
For convenience and ease, I am only sharing the past year of my blog. Enjoy!
From Flop to Success – The day no one signed up
It was fascinating. I had the Receiving Retreat on Saturday. And it wasn’t anything like I’d imagined it would be when I initially planned it.
You see, no one signed up. Even though the energy said to do it. Even though the astrologer said to do it. Even though.... You get the picture. Apparently, I forgot to factor in the end of year school schedules.
I teach to not let other’s reality become your reality by being high vibe…
There is No Fail, Only Try
Failure comes in two flavors – low vibe and high vibe. It doesn’t matter if you personally are high vibe or low vibe, as both have failure. However, the difference is your perspective of what you are experiencing.
When you are low vibe and feel chaotic, apathetic, depressed, guilty, judged, shamed, and blamed, you probably look at failure as something bad. One negative after another. You may even make up a rule that you are a failure and never get it right. Afterall, it didn’t work all of the times you did try. So that means you aren’t perfect and you’ll always be wrong, so you might as well give up. You stop trying. Failure becomes something to avoid.
2023 Wrapped
It’s almost 2023. Are you ready? What will you have done by the end of next year?
I can hear you now. “Wait! We aren’t even done with 2022 and already you want me to think of next December?”
Yes! Now is the time to start dreaming about what will make 2023 a successful year. Don’t worry, you can change your mind. You can make different choices. For now, just start dreaming (and write them down)…
Reaching for that Better Feeling
Sometimes we don’t know why something happenings or doesn’t. We may never know.
When something doesn’t go your way, allow yourself to have the initial reaction. Then move on. The quicker you can get to a space where you can acknowledge that it didn’t show up the way you wanted, the quicker you can allow something really good to come from that.
In short, find something good about what happens.
Anxiety Buster
It’s time to bust apart any anxiety you may be feeling during this holiday season (and in truth, all other times). This can seem difficult when those around you are in worry mode. Anxiety is contagious, but you have a choice.
Here is a simple method to help you let go of the anxiety and increase more of the feelings that give you hope, gratitude, and ease.
The Importance of Rest
Do you need a break from life?
Are you tired of doing, doing, and more doing?
Are you feeling run down and still pushing forward?
It may be time for a rest.
Many people keep on running and doing and never actually rest. Even their vacations are action packed. I’ll bet you’ve heard people say, “I have to go home to rest up from my vacation.” The whole idea of taking time out of your daily life is to give your body a chance to rest.
Notice the Blessings (Even if They are Late)
What blessings are you missing – even though they are right in front of you?
Recently, my husband opened a card that I’d put on his pillow on our anniversary. Eleven months ago. He’d moved it to the nightstand and then forgot about it. (Obviously, dusting isn’t his job. If it was, it would be a very dirty nightstand.)
He asked if this was an early card. Nope. I’d been waiting for him to open it. Coincidentally, the focus of the card was about communications and laughing at how one of us says one thing and the other hears something else.
Dealing with the Shooting in a High Vibe Way
The reality of high vibe consciousness is to stay high vibe EVEN WHEN others around you are freaking out. This is exactly what I did as soon as I heard of the shooting in my hometown this week.
My first thought was to send loving energy to everyone involved. Victims. Almost victims. The family of the shooter. And even the shooter. I surrounded them with love with the intention of calming their nervous systems.
My second thought was to raise my vibration even higher so that I could be more of an energetic help. I put on soft music and painted.
Enjoy Life. Three Steps to a New You.
What if it was different?
What if you enjoyed what you did?
How could your life be better?
While visiting family, we stayed at a hotel. It was Mother’s Day and I had some time to myself…

Let Go of Complaining
The first step to changing the past is to stop complaining about it. In fact, stop complaining, judging, moaning, and groaning all together. What you focus on is what you get. So, if you are focused on “let me tell you all the bad things that have been going on” the Universe is hearing that you want more bad things – and will give it to you.
Instead look for the gold. Look for what is working in your life. Look for what is right about what you formerly complained about.
Do You Want to Be Right or Be Happy?
The saying “You can be right, or you can be happy” takes on new meaning when you look through the lens of allowing yourself to be open to something even better. A recent client conveyed that she’d gotten a new job since the last time we spoke. It was her dream job. She went on to say that while the work was similar to her previous job, the new environment was her dream company culture.
Rewrite the Past. Manifest the Future.
Do you have some memory from your past that is still influencing you?
Does something that happened years and years ago still upset you?
Do you know that you can rewrite your memories?
That’s right. You can rewrite your memories. Just because something bothered you 10, 20 or 30 years ago doesn’t mean you have to still be bothered by it. What you focus on is up to you. This means that you can change your focus.
14 Guidelines for a Life that Works for You
Here is a brief “cheat sheet” to help you create a life that works for you. Most blogs are story based touching on one of these guidelines.
I Spy Manifesting
One of the basic principles of manifesting is “what you focus on is what you get.” Recently, I had a client challenge me on this in regard to gratitude. He didn’t believe that if he focused on gratitude the Universe would bring him more to be grateful about.
Manifesting from Ideals
I got an interesting article in the mail today that got me thinking. The article was about why we celebrate July 4th as Independence Day. After all, that wasn’t the day we won the Revolutionary War. It was, however, the day that a group of men set forth the ideals of what was possible.
Relationship Boost - The Love List
All too often couples find themselves playing the shame-blame game. He did this. She said that. And so on. All of this is low vibe and slowly tears apart the relationship. And the more this is done, the more high vibe slips away, and the worse people feel. This sets up a cycle of worse feelings feeding more worse feelings.
Changing Perspectives
Changing perspectives is an art and something you can learn. Being able to look at something from many different angles gives you a leg up because it actually lowers stress levels. In the end, any problem, looked at from a new perspective or angle very often stops being a problem (or a solution becomes obvious). Learning to shift perspectives can take a bit of practice.
Gratitude Leads to a Solution
What is happening across the world is horrible, and I have compassion for everyone involved. Even though things aren’t perfect in the United States, we have so much to be grateful for. And interestingly, it is when we are grateful that we find even more things to be grateful for and in doing so, options open up.
What You Believe Matters
I have a pillow that I see every day. It quietly sits on the bench in the hallway. “She believed she could, so she did.” It’s a silent reminder that what I believe becomes reality.
